Not only have I removed the "piss filter" as some call it, but I did my best at creating softer and more natural lighting so that when the lights are off-they are REALLY off and you absolutely must rely on your flashlight. ![]() DeadSpace 1 has the same lighting issue that games like Fallout 3 have: a green/yellow haze that unrealistically illuminates and fails at creating an immersive mood. ![]() It has a subtle DOF that enhances the immersion by selling the idea that you are right behind Isaac. The goal of this profile is to create an atmosphere that realistically mimics what being isolated in the poorly-lit Ishimura would look and feel like. I have my in-game brightness via the DeadSpace options half-way or all the way down depending on my mood. It's subtle, but you don't have to use it. Don't worry, try it out in game and see for yourself! Also, as a preference, I use NVIDIA's digital vibrancy set to 65%. ![]() It's darker for sure, but you can still see. As a result the screenshots all look much darker than they do in game. ***READ FIRST*** Please note that I had trouble getting accurate screenshots of what it looks like in game due to some settings.
